Snow Sports NZ yesterday announced its freeski national team members for 2012.
They are brothers Jossi and Byron Wells, Lyndon Sheehan, Janina Kuzma, Sam Smoothy, all of Wanaka, and Mitchey Greig, of Queenstown.
Snow Sports New Zealand's director of coach and sport development Adam Dooney said the addition of freeski slopestyle and halfpipe to the Winter Olympic programme opened up the opportunity for most national team members to become Olympians.
The freeski development and youth squads were also named.
