The 7yr-old is part-owned by jockey Cathy Treymane, partner of Hutchinson.
Flame Proof gave apprentice Natalia Hume her first trial win.
She is indentured to Pam Robson.
Treymane underwent surgery on Monday to have a plate inserted in a shoulder.
She injured the shoulder in a fall at Riverton in March when returning to scale.
Flame Proof won a rating 85 2200m at Wingatui last season when trained by Shane Kennedy at Riccarton.
Flame Proof won his first race as a 3yr-old at Ellerslie when trained by Treymane, then at Cambridge.
He had another two wins from the Ruakaka stable of Dean and Donna Logan and Chris Gibbs.
The Commander gelding won the 2007 Oamaru Cup when trained at Waiuku by Michael and Tarsha Stokes.
Hutchinson also produced Grand Larceny to finish second in the 1200m open trial.
Grand Larceny was a maiden winner at Otaki in January.
Hutchinson is planning to start Flame Proof and Grand Larceny fresh at Wingatui on December 5.
Son Of The Oak has joined the North Taieri stable of Brian and Shane Anderton with a view to jumping.
"His owners want to try him on the flat first and then as a jumper," Shane Anderton said.
The 8yr-old Yamanin Vital gelding is being given a course of hill work.
He won five races including the 2007 Invercargill Cup when trained by Lester Morris at Ashburton.
Crossyourheart is a newcomer to Cambridge stable of Murray and Bjorn Baker.
Crossyourheart, who has not raced since April, won a trial at Paeroa on September 30.
Crossyourheart, formerly trained by Richard Collett, won the $500,000 NZ Bloodstock Classique and the listed Murdoch Newell Stakes at Ellerslie as a 2yr-old.
She won rating 90 1200m races at Avondale and Ellerslie as a 3yr-old last season.
Railings, winner of the 2005 Caulfield Cup, is now trained by Mike and Paul Moroney at Matamata.
The 7yr-old Zabeel-Suffragette gelding has not raced since October, 2007.
He had two starts last season when trained by Roger James.
He was trained for his Caulfield Cup win by John Hawkes in Melbourne.
Zarius is back in the Matamata stable of Mark Walker.
Zarius raced once last season when trained by Raylene Whiteside at Waiuku.
He won an open handicap at Hastings the previous season from two starts.
He won the 2006 City of Auckland Cup (2400m) and ran third to Pentane and Zabeat in the Auckland Cup as a 4yr-old.
Rat Tat has been transferred from Tony Lawrey at Featherston to Geoff Haigh at Levin.
Rat Tat, the winner of 11 races, had his most recent success over 1400m at Awapuni on a slow track in June.
