Jockey Jamie Bullard won the Kumara Nuggets for the fourth time when he teamed with Quantum Dude at Kumara on Saturday.
Quantum Dude is trained at Rangiora by Paul Harris, who had won the Nuggets with Mike in 2003.
Bullard has also won the race on Dame Clay (1999), Narousa (2002) and Al Farouk (2007).
Quantum Dude has been re-handicapped 1.5kg to 58.5kg for the Greymouth Cup at Omoto on Wednesday.
The Harris stable also has Lotus and Golden Dollars in the Greymouth Cup, a race he won in 2001 with Go Vee Jay and 2002 (Full Colonel).
Lotus won the Reefton Cup last Wednesday.
Quantum Dude has also won the Geraldine Cup since transferring to Harris in August from Rangiora part-owner Lester Morris.
Quantum Dude won the 2007 Waverley Cup for Morris and his partner, Patricia Allison.
"I will talk to Lester about a programme for the horse. He may stay here and run in the Greymouth Cup and then head south for the Invercargill Cup. The Trentham Stakes is an alternative."
The weight-for-age Trentham Stakes (2100m) is next Saturday.
Trainer Michael Pitman Pitman added wins with Quick Time, Nervada and Don Buck to his holiday tally.
