Tony Herlihy is listed to drive Ohoka Arizona in race two at Addington tomorrow night with a view to driving the horse in the New Zealand Cup.
Ohoka Arizona, who has won eight races, was a last-start winner at Addington on October 1 in the hands of co-trainer David Butt.
"David is likely to drive Bondy in the New Zealand Cup and as I do not have a drive I think David is hoping I can drive Ohoka Arizona in the Cup."
Herlihy has One Over Kenny starting from 20m in the $25,000 Canterbury Park Trotting Cup tomorrow night.
Herlihy said he was disappointed with her last start effort for third to Sno's Big Boy and Alien Awaits at Alexandra Park on September 29 when she started from 30m and was driven by Mark Purdon.
"She may have just been a bit flat after her enormous effort to win first up off 65m after 18 months away from racing.
"She has come through her last race well and has worked well since,""She will find it tough in a strong capacity field from 20m on Friday night but her next three races after that will all be free-for-alls.
"She is on the way up and I expect her to keep improving for the big races coming up."
Freyberg qualified eight seconds under the required time at Gore yesterday.
The 3yr-old ran the 2200m in 2.05.3, the last 800m in 57.4, the final 400m in 29.3.
Freyberg is by Washington VC from Sam's Beach Babe and is trained by Brian Norman.
Elmer Fudd, who has not race four five and a-half months won a trial yesterday.
