Electronic Motion is in line for a hat trick at Wingatui today.

Electronic Motion followed up a maiden win over 1600m on a good track at Oamaru on July 30 with success over the same distance in heavy footing at Washdyke three weeks later.

The Snippetson rig, in the Riccarton stable of Aaron Taylor, is racing over the same distance in race 2 today with the track heavy.

Aronsay, who won over hurdles at Washdyke the same day in his first start over jumps, is in a hurdles today. Michael Mitchell, the Hamilton rider, is the replacement for suspended Ross Doherty. Mitchell can claim 3kg.

• The switch of the Sydney meeting from Randwick to Warwick Farm on Saturday has deflated the confidence of Ardmore trainer Stephen McKee regarding the chances of Pussy Willow in the Furious Stakes, AAP reports.

Pussy Willow will be flown to Sydney tonight to begin her Australian campaign in the group two feature over 1400m but McKee says the field will be halfway down the home straight before she gets going on the small track.

He is convinced she will be competitive in the final two races of the Princess Series, the Tea Rose Stakes (1500m) at Rosehill and the group one Flight Stakes (1600m) at Randwick.
