Wot The Owl, the winner of four races in the past three months, has a claiming tag of $3500 at Forbury Park tomorrow night.

Wot The Owl, a winner at Invercargill on Sunday, has won four races and been three times placed in eight starts since he joined the Invercargill stable of Andrew Armour in May.

The Riverboat King gelding, now an 8yr-old, had been claimed out of a race at New Plymouth. He won first-up for Armour after being off the winning list for 12 months. Nathan Williamson has the drive.

• Cardinal Huff, a winner at Addington last Friday, is now trained by owner Katie Cox, the junior driver.

Cardinal Huff won two races from the Burnham stable of Jamie Gameson. Cox leased the horse in May after he won at Forbury Park.

Cox has taken out a licence to train but she will continue to work for Gameson.

• Dexter Dunn has been engaged to drive Zedalite in the Breeders Crown final for 3yr-old trotters at Melton on Sunday.

The Brent Lilley-trained Zedalite was a repechage winner at Maryborough last Thursday when driven by Robert Butt.

He drives Rosalie Bay, the other Lilley-trained candidate.

Dunn is also driving Bit Of A Legend, Texican and Its Onlyforyou.

Bit Of A Legend was declared unruly at the start after he tangled in the early stages of his semifinal at Melton last Friday.

He staged a tremendous effort to finish second to Lennytheshark.

Its Onlyforyou won her semifinal and Texican finished second to Fly Like An Eagle.

Trainer Mark Purdon has five horses in the finals - Fly Like An Eagle, Mr Nickel (also a semifinal winner), Cyclone U Bolt, Twist And Twirl (semifinal winner) and Border Control (semifinal winner).

A second-line draw may not be a problem to Victors Delight in the final for 4yr-old mares. She overcame a second-line draw to win a heat at Melton on Sunday in a 2.00.7 mile rate for the 2240m (mobile).

Raced by Woodlands Stud with Crusaders rugby players Kieran Reid and Andy Ellis, coach Dave Hewett, and Dick Tayler, of Christchurch, Victors Delight has won three of her five starts since she began racing from the Victoria stable of Andy Kelly a month ago.

• Murcielargo has joined the Oamaru stable of Phil Williamson. The Sundon gelding has won three races from nine starts when trained by Peter and Glen Wolfenden at Drury.

Jonny Wilkinson, a last-start winner of a claiming race at Alexandra Park, has joined the Ohoka stable of Paul Kerr. It was the 10th win for Jonny Wilkinson, now a 9yr-old.

• Rathmore Lady won first-up in Australia yesterday at Menangle in 1.55.9 for the mile.
