They sold a Bettor's Delight colt from former star Southland race mare Beaudiene Bad Babe for $125,000 to Auckland trainer Barry Purdon.
The Andersons, who sell their horses from their company Taffy Ltd, yesterday sold six yearlings who were all bred from their broodmare band of former star race mares.

Westwood Beach trainer Graeme Anderson got the sale under way by buying its first lot, a Mach Three colt from Queen Of The Crop, for $14,000.
The trainer also bought another Mach Three colt, a half brother to Terrorway, a horse Anderson developed before he became a group 1 star in Australia. The yearling from dam Rejoicing was knocked down for $17,000.
The most expensive Otago purchase was a Bettor's Delight filly from Classy Beach, bought for $71,000 by Penrith Holdings. The filly is from the family of star broodmare Scuse Me.
Dunedin buyer Garry Clarke bought five yearlings at yesterday's sale.
His priciest purchase was a Somebeachsomewhere colt from Fullofjoy for $22,000.
Otago yearlings sold at the sale were headed by the $60,000 Somebeachsomewhere colt from Southwind Arden, sold by Tapanui breeders John and Judy Stiven, of Arden Lodge.
All eight of the yearlings they offered were sold yesterday.
Phil and Margaret Creighton's Glenbrook Park Standardbreds produced one of the province's better results.
They sold a Bettor's Delight colt from Princess Of Diamonds for $41,000.
Of the 194 lots offered during yesterday's premier sale 156 sold, a clearance rate of 80.4%.
The yearlings sold at an average of $31,698.
Fifty-nine yearlings were offered separately to the premier sale in the supplementary section of the national yearling sales, was staged after the premier pacing section ended.
