Eight Otago competitors have been chosen in the South Island under-18 squad.
John McGlashan College's Maadi Cup single sculls champion Jack McLaughlan headlines the selection, while the school also had Jez Nicholson-Kelly and Oscar Cochrane named in the squad.
Columba College also received three selections in the form of Ellen Foley, Amber Cunningham and Millie Wright.
Bayfield High School's Eva Hofmans and Otago Boys' High School's Ben Mason round out the Otago members.
There were 28 rowers selected overall - 14 boys and 14 girls. They were chosen from a trial list of 50 rowers.
The team will compete against the North Island in a variety of races on April 19-20 at Lake Karapiro.
Three of the four coaches of the team are also from Otago in Bryce Abernethy, Matt Adam and Natalie Matheson.
