Reigning champions Alhambra-Union went on the rampage to score six tries in its commanding 45-15 win against Taieri at Peter Johnstone Park today.
The star performer for the Maroons was first five-eighth Peter Breen who scored 20 points with a try and seven goals.
Alhambra-Union lead the competition after two rounds with 10 points and are followed by University A 8, Harbour 6, Southern 6, Kaikorai 5, Dunedin 5, Zingari Richmond 5, Taieri 4, Pirates 1, Green Island 1.
