All Blacks prop Charlie Faumuina has moved to douse speculation linking him with a move to Paris club Racing Metro after next year's World Cup.
Reports surfaced yesterday Faumuina was close to confirming his post World Cup future. French newspaper Midi Olympique also reported midfielder Ma'a Nonu had signed with French club Toulon and would join them after the World Cup.
Faumuina refuted suggestions he would soon be on the move.
"No...that's the first I had heard of it," he said when he was asked whether it was true that he had already signed. "There is nothing there...someone writing some stuff. I'm enjoying my time with the All Blacks and playing for the Blues. We will see how it goes when the time comes [to extend my contract]."
