Henry Parker scored the winning try in the last two minutes to help Taieri retain its unbeaten record when it beat Alhambra-Union 26-25 in a top of the table clash in Dunedin premier club rugby today.
Green Island retained the Bert Hellyer Memorial Trophy for the third successive year when Zingari-Richmond was beaten 20-17.
No 8 Gareth Evans reached top form with his strong running and played a key role in Dunedin's six try 40-17 win over Harbour.
University A reached its best form of the season when it scored five tries to outclass Kaikorai 39-14.
Southern centre Apelu Alapati's try in the 70th minute helped Southern retain the Jack Hore Memorial Trophy, and bank a valuable bonus point, when it beat Pirates 25-18.
