Some high-quality talent has been revealed for this year’s Bayleys Tussock Country music festival which will be a special year for country music in Gore.
More than half a century of volunteer work to help his community has led to Gore district councillor Neville Phillips receiving the King’s Service Medal, which he says is truly humbling.
The Gore district’s best and brightest are heading off to university this year with a bit of extra help, thanks to the Mataura Licensing Trust’s annual scholarships.
