Celebrated filmmaker Quentin Tarantino, who revived the career of John Travolta with Pulp Fiction, is reportedly turning his eyes in Britney Spears' general direction.
London's Daily Telegraph reports that Tarantino is close to signing the pop singer to star in a remake of Russ Meyer's 1965 art house classic, Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!
Spears would play a lesbian stripper who kills a young man and takes his girlfriend hostage as her love slave.
"Quentin is convinced Britney will be brilliant. She's delighted," an anonymous source tells the Telegraph. "She thinks it could turn her career around."
