An obsessed stalker who threatened to kill Little Britain star David Walliams during a four-year campaign of harassment has been sectioned under the Mental Health Act, the British Press Association reports on its website.
Sarah Bartholomew, 29, of Clacton-on-Sea, Essex, admitted sending a deluge of gifts, letters and emails to the award-winning comedian.
In one letter, she told Walliams: "I have to have you at any cost. I will kill or abduct you, to stop you seeing anyone else.''
