English comic Russell Brand is set to do his first ever Australian shows.
Since his first stand-up show in 2000, Brand has become one of the most famous and successful comedians in Britain, mining his past as a drug and sex addict for material.
He's been described by the Telegraph as "the most talented stand-up comedian to emerge in Britain so far this decade", and "possibly the hottest British comedy export since Ricky Gervais" by Variety.
Brand has four sold-out shows in Sydney and Melbourne and a new DVD, Doing Life Live, out this month.
He briefly dated Australian actress Teresa Palmer, and his womanising has won him The Sun's Shagger Of The Year award for the past three years running.
