Another Kiwi act impresses X Factor Australia judges

Another Kiwi has made waves on X Factor Australia, not only for his singing voice, but his looks too.

Trojahn Tuna, a 23-year-old tattoo artist from Waimana, Bay of Plenty, thrilled judges with his rendition of Mario's You Should Let Me Love You to raucous applause and each judge voted to send him to the next round of "boot camp".

But one judge was particularly onboard - Iggy Azalea could barely contain herself, telling Tuna: "I particularly like R&B sung by people who look like you - you are fine.

"You can just pick me up over your shoulder and walk off with me, Daddy!"

Fellow judge Adam Lambert praised the singer's charismatic performance, saying it was "by far one of the coolest things I've seen since I've been here".

Tuna's other claim to fame is tattooing Jennifer Lopez's ex-partner Casper Smart during his visit to Australia with the pop star.

Smart tweeted at the time: "Getting tattooed in Australia, finally finishing my Maori tatt [started] 6 years ago in New Zealand by this dope guy who just moved here. #Lucky."

Tuna's success follows that of fellow Kiwis, brother and sister team Brentwood Duo, who impressed the judges with their cover of Major Lazer's Powerful.

Tuna's full performance will air on X Factor Australia on Saturday at 7pm, on TV3.
