Elvis Presley archivists have found three rare photos dating to 1957 that show the young singer greeting fans at the gates of Graceland.
Negatives of the photos were discovered as archivists pored through a vast collection of documents from the office of Vernon Presley, Elvis' father.
Archivist Angie Marchese of Elvis Presley Enterprises said the photos have never before been published.
The black-and-white photos show Elvis with his black pompadour and a long-sleeved shirt. Fans are standing behind the gate and perched along the wall and brick columns that surround Graceland, his stately Memphis home.
The pictures will be displayed at a Graceland exhibit beginning Thursday and running through August 16.
