Dunedin’s largest independently owned and operated tyre business, Otago Tyres was originally started by Tim McKeown. Tim started out working from small premises on Hillside Rd, before moving to the current location on Hillside Rd in the early 1990s.
In 2006, Malcolm Schaaf and Peter White purchased the business and expanded it, opening a second store on St Andrew St in 2009.
