Hare’s to a natural celebration

Needle-felting artist Irene Smith, of Wanaka, is proving natural fibres can be used for more than just clothing.

Her felt hares and angels were among the items on show at the 50th anniversary celebrations of the Wanaka Creative Fibre Group yesterday.
