Seven people have been rescued from crocodile-infested waters in the Northern Territory after their car was washed off a flooded road.
Police say the group got into trouble about 8pm on Thursday while attempting to negotiate Cahills Crossing - a notorious feeding ground for crocodiles.
Halfway across, their four-wheel-drive stalled and was washed partially into the East Alligator River.
Seven passengers climbed on to the roof where they waited two hours before a passerby heard their calls for help.
Kakadu Park Rangers rescued the group by boat.
"With the wet season upon us this is a timely reminder for all Territorians to exercise caution when travelling and to never attempt to cross flooded roadways," the NT Police Facebook page said.
