A car smashed into a brick wall at the corner of Duke and Cumberland Sts, Dunedin after two vehicles collided shortly before 3pm yesterday.
No-one was hurt in the crash.
In an Otago Daily Times article last week, Dunedin motorcyclist Brian O'Neill warned about safety issues at the intersection.
He said there were some visibility issues and claimed some motorists coming from Duke St were not complying with the compulsory stop sign.
Mr O'Neill said he was nearly hit by a vehicle there recently.
He has dubbed the intersection ``suicide alley'', and has contacted the Dunedin City Council seeking safety improvements.
Two St John ambulances and two fire appliances attended the crash yesterday. No other details were available.
