International street artist Roa, of Belgium, spray paints detail into his Bath St work of a tuatara in Dunedin.

The work, which he started this morning, should be finished tomorrow evening.

Roa, who shied away from revealing his identity, said he had learnt to create street art at a fast pace.

The nature of working outside meant he was at the mercy of weather conditions, so he did not have the luxury of time.

He was lured to Dunedin by various businesses and organisations, after his recent participation in a street art festival in Christchurch.

See Saturday's Otago Daily Times for an image of the completed work.
