Fire and Emergency New Zealand (Fenz) crew assist at the scene after a car crashed into a power pole outside Brockville School in Dunedin yesterday.

The car needed to be towed after crashing into the pole with enough force to put it on a lean. A police spokesman said Aurora Energy was notified.

The accident happened in Brockville Rd at the pedestrian crossing near the entrance to Brockville School about 1pm.

Fenz was called to assist, and Hato Hone St John sent an ambulance, whose crew assessed one patient and treated them at the scene
