A police spokeswoman said the woman was suspected to have had a medical event.
The car she was driving ran over a letter box as it exited a driveway on McFadden Dr about 3.30pm, then raced up another driveway on the opposite side of the street before crashing into a garage door.
St John spokesman Gerard Campbell said the woman was treated by ambulance officers at the scene for minor injuries but was not taken to hospital.
The two young boys in the car were shaken but uninjured.
"We’ll need some new wheels," one said.
