Carpentry skills put to use for a charitable cause

Otago Polytechnic carpentry students have built a house to auction for charity, for the 13th straight year.

Money raised at an auction of the furnished four-bedroom home in Dunedin on Saturday will go to United Way, which distributes proceeds to charities in Otago.

The auction will be at the polytechnic’s L Block, in Anzac Ave, from noon.
