Cars of all sorts will be on show for a good cause during the Otago Community Hospice charity cruise in Dunedin tomorrow.
Organiser Andrew Webster, of Southern Skyline Enthusiasts, said the event would run from 9am to 6pm at Tahuna Park, with a cruise around Dunedin from 11am to 1pm and a car show after that.
What made the event different was the range of cars - everything from Japanese imports to Ferraris and Porsches would be on show.
The annual event started five years ago as the group was looking for ways to shed its ''boy-racer'' image and the hospice was chosen as the beneficiary because of a personal connection.
''My mum spent the last three or four days of her life there,'' he said.
So far, the event had raised $10,000 for the hospice.
He hoped the weather would play its part after previous events had been affected by rain.
Six trophies would be awarded in various categories.
Entry for the car show was by gold coin donation.
