A small shark was spotted cruising the waters of Dunedin's Andy Bay Inlet this morning.
Jeff Ormandy, who shot a video of the shark, said today he spotted it about 7am while on his way to work.
“A pretty chilled-out little dude, just cruising for some breakfast,” he said.
Mr Ormandy said the shark appeared to have no real concern about being so close to a human.
"It definitely knew I was there and just continued to mosey along, seemingly content with its morning patrol."
The shark didn't seem to be in a hurry to leave - it was still there about 11.30am.
