Crews called to bin fire

Fire and Emergency New Zealand crews flocked to Port Chalmers due to fears of a house fire. A Fenz spokeswoman said the blaze was initially thought to be at a house, but it turned out to be a bin fire. Crews from Port Chalmers, Ravensbourne and Willowbank swiftly brought the blaze under control.
