One person was taken to hospital after a car and truck collided at the corner of Barnes Dr and the Southern Motorway in Dunedin this evening.
A white Subaru Legacy station wagon was extensively damaged, a witness said.
The truck appeared to have minor damage.
A diversion was put in place at Lookout Point for northbound traffic.
No further details are available.
