Doubling down

A firefighter dampens down a hot spot in the roof of a Tweed St property in Dunedin yesterday morning.

The occupants of the two-storey house were forced to evacuate on Sunday night after a fire was discovered in the roof cavity about 9.50pm.

Firefighters from Roslyn were called back to the property yesterday morning after a fire investigator discovered a hot spot in the roof.
