A man has died after a crash in Stuart St on Monday night, Dunedin police have confirmed.
Emergency services were called to the scene near Littlebourne Rd after the man's car was believed to have rolled after colliding with a power pole, about 5.20pm.
The driver was the only person in the car, police said, and confirmed the death at 8pm.
Stuart St was blocked near Moana Pool for a time.
The Serious Crash Unit would be investigating the cause of the crash and police said they were contacting the man's next-of-kin.
