A motorcyclist is seriously injured following a crash on State Highway 96 in Southland this morning.
A police spokesman said emergency services were called to the crash, between Keen and Factory Rds, near Hedgehope, about 10am.
"One person is reported to have serious injuries," the spokesman said.
SH96 was closed between Keen and Factory Rds while emergency services worked at the scene.
In an update about 4pm NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi advised the road had fully reopened.
