Dunedin date on Shania Twain's first NZ tour

Country pop superstar Shania Twain will perform in Dunedin later this year as one of only two shows on her first ever New Zealand tour.

Twain, a five-time Grammy winner, will play Auckland’s Spark Arena on December 18 before heading to Dunedin to perform at Forsyth Barr Stadium on December 22.

Tickets for the shows will go on sale at midday on Friday, February 9.

Twain has sold more than 90 million albums worldwide. In New Zealand, her most recent album NOW debuted at No 3 on the RIANZ Album chart in September last year. 

Twain has links with Otago, having previously owned - with former husband Mutt Lange - Motatapu, a high-country sheep station near Wanaka.
