The Dunedin City Council has granted resource consent for a Burger King Restaurant and drive-through to be built at 369 Andersons Bay Rd, Dunedin.
Restaurant owner TPF Group will now seek building consent for a single-storey, 365sq m restaurant with seating for up to 100 customers at the corner of Andersons Bay Rd and McBride St in South Dunedin.
The site will include off-street parking for 32 vehicles.
The landlord of existing Burger King premises, adjoining a Shell petrol station at 351 Andersons Bay Rd, had been notified that consent had been granted, TPF business development manager Mike Parkinson said.
