Flowers adorn the fence of the Al Huda Mosque in Clyde St, Dunedin, in remembrance of the lives lost in the Christchurch mosque attacks two years ago yesterday.
Otago Muslim Association president Dr Mohammed Rizwan said there were no plans in Dunedin for a formal commemoration of the tragedy. He said his community was trying to move on from the event.
‘‘All we can do is remember those who lost their lives in our prayers.’’
