About $3000 worth of property has been stolen from an Old Brighton Rd property on Anzac Day, police say.
Sergeant Steve Aitken, of Dunedin, said a door on the rear of a garage was forced open and $1400 worth of dog tracking gear, a $700 welder, a welding helmet and a grinder were taken yesterday.
Inquiries were continuing.
Meanwhile, an iPad, a 1tb hard drive and a pair of sunglasses were taken from a car on Ross St in the suburb of Roslyn between 8pm on Sunday and 10.30am yesterday, Sgt Aitken said.
A credit card was taken from another car during the same period in Farley St, Kaikorai.
Sgt Aitken said the back window of the vehicle had been smashed and the card used for a $71 purchase.
Police were tracking the card and looking into where the purchase was made.
Anyone with any information on these incidents was asked to contact Dunedin police on (03) 471-4800, or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800-555-111.
