A woman has suffered a head injury after a car crash in Dunedin last night.
A police spokeswoman said a man was driving north on Cumberland St and struck another vehicle in the middle of the intersection.
A damaged car was towed away, she said.
The incident happened about 10.30pm. Police are continuing their investigation.
A St John spokesman said a woman with a minor to moderate head injury was taken by ambulance to Dunedin Hospital.
Earlier, police had stated a group of men were jumping on cars at the crash scene. However, it was unclear if the two incidents were linked.
