Korean culture celebrated

The grounds of the church were filled with the smell of Korean barbecue during the first Korea Day celebration to be held in Dunedin.

Event organiser Sue Kim said the event aimed to raise awareness of Korean people and culture.

It was held to coincide with Korean Language Week, she said.Event-goers were also treated to Samulnori drumming  and to K-Pop performances.
