Dunedin police are investigating after a man was kicked in the head by an unknown number of people in George St.
A police media spokeswoman confirmed there had been multiple calls from the public about the incident, which happened in the central city about 3.15pm.
The man suffered minor to moderate injuries, however no ambulance was required.
No arrests had yet been made.
