A ''small number'' of tickets are still available for Neil Diamond's Dunedin concert on Saturday.
The 74-year-old American singer played his first New Zealand show on Monday night at Vector Arena in Auckland in front of 10,500 fans.
He plays a second Auckland show tonight.
Dunedin Venues Management Ltd marketing and communications manager Kim Barnes said there were still a few tickets available for the Forsyth Barr Stadium concert.
''We're pleased with the ticket sales and the promoters are happy with how it's going.''
She was unable to disclose the exact number of tickets sold.
Ms Barnes was unsure whether the show would sell out.
''There could be a [decent] walk-up crowd on the night.''
Neil Diamond is the second big act to perform at Forsyth Barr Stadium this year after Rod Stewart sold out in April.
Fleetwood Mac will perform at the stadium on November 18 and Black Sabbath has been announced for April 30 next year.
