Members of the Pirates Senior team, including (from left) Conrad Stedman, Chris Maclean and Paul Rowley, are unsure what they will wear to the game this weekend after a bag containing 30 sets of dirty playing kit was stolen from a van at the weekend. Photo by Stephen Jaquiery.
Club chairman Conrad Stedman said a bag containing most of the jerseys was dropped on the back doorstep of the club on Wednesday night.
The team's playing kit - including socks and shorts - was stolen from a van parked in John Wilson Ocean Dr during the weekend.
Mr Stedman said all the socks were missing as were most of the shorts, but the team would be able to scrap together enough kit to take to the field clothed this weekend.
Any information about the theft or the outstanding kit can be provided to Pirates Rugby Football Club by contacting Conrad Stedman on 021-311-551.
