A person suffered serious injuries after they were struck by a car in East Taieri last night.
Police, fire crews and an ambulance were deployed to the intersection of Main South Rd and Elizabeth Ave shortly after 10pm.
A police spokesman said initial indications were one person suffered serious injuries.A Fire and Emergency NZ spokesman said crews from the Lookout Pt and Mosgiel stations were on scene and the victim was reportedly unconscious.
Beyond that, the extent of the injuries were unknown.
