Two men have been charged in relation to stealing a late model Alfa Romeo and a Holden Monaro on Friday.
Senior Sergeant Shona Low, of Dunedin, said the men were part of a group being spoken to in connection with the vehicles.
Both cars were recovered and the men were arrested by Dunedin police on Saturday, she said.
The Alfa Romeo was stolen from a Highcliff Rd address while the Holden Monaro was taken from Aberdeen Rd on Friday.
One man would appear in the Dunedin District Court today while the other would appear tomorrow, Snr Sgt Low said.
