The movable bulkhead, which can divide the 50m pool into two 25m pools, was removed on Monday for maintenance work.
A Dunedin City Council spokesman said seals and holes in the bulkhead had been replaced and repaired.
Normal operation was expected to resume on Monday, when the bulkhead was planned to return.
The council acknowledged the work had impacted pool users, and staff had worked to relocate sessions, the spokesman said.
‘‘We thank everyone who has used the pool over the last few days and appreciate their understanding as we undertake this important maintenance project.’’ — Allied Media
