University of Otago student AbbyRose Hammond (19) browses designer labels at the iD Designer Sale in Dunedin at the weekend.

Co-ordinator Anita Greene said ``a few hundred'' people attended the event, held at the Hub at Otago Polytechnic on Saturday.

The sale, featuring 14 stalls of designer labels from Dunedin and around New Zealand, was usually held in March, but had been brought forward this year, in part to tap into student O Week crowds, she said.

The 18th iD Dunedin Fashion Week will be held from March 18-26.

Our journalists are your neighbours

We are the South's eyes and ears in crucial council meetings, at court hearings, on the sidelines of sporting events and on the frontline of breaking news.

As our region faces uncharted waters in the wake of a global pandemic, Otago Daily Times continues to bring you local stories that matter.

We employ local journalists and photographers to tell your stories, as other outlets cut local coverage in favour of stories told out of Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.

You can help us continue to bring you local news you can trust by becoming a supporter.
