The gardens were completed during a working bee on Saturday. Manager Claire Hutton said the centre was taking part in the 5+A Day Challenge and the veges grown in the gardens would help to feed the children and teach them about healthy eating.
The habits the children learned at the centre could be taken home and incorporated into their daily lives.
