School’s courts get a makeover

Bayfield High School principal Mark Jones tries out the texture of the newly sealed surface on the school’s tennis courts yesterday afternoon. 

The multi-use facility was made to encourage student engagement in sports.

The redevelopment began in November last year and the resurfacing was estimated to cost between $300,000 and $400,000. The courts are also used by the Anderson’s Bay Tennis Club.
