Mosgiel teenager Jamie Jury, critically injured in a gas explosion earlier this week, has been transferred from Dunedin Hospital to the Middlemore Hospital burns centre in Auckland.
The 18-year-old was transferred from Dunedin yesterday morning. Brendon McLeod (17), who was also critically injured, remains in a stable but serious condition at Middlemore.
Police are no longer looking for a third person reported to have been seen leaving the Gordon Rd home before the explosion.
Detective Wayne O'Connell, of Mosgiel, said police had finished their inquiries into the house fire.
