It was like Christmas for the hundreds of children who rode in trucks and the hundreds more who lined the streetsof Dunedin for the annual Special Rigs for Special Kids event yesterday.
More than 200 drivers took part in the convoy, now in its 28th year.
Leaving from the Edgar Centre car park, the convoy made its way through South Dunedin, over Corstorphine to Kaikorai Valley, then up Taieri Rd and over Three Mile Hill to Mosgiel, before heading back to Dunedin via Fairfield and Green Island.
