Otago University Students Association president Logan Edgar and president-elect Francisco Hernandez were elected this week as the student representatives on the University of Otago council.
Mr Edgar, an incumbent, said they would both ensure students were well represented on the council.
"Fran has served on the OUSA for two years ... and will spearhead social justice issues. His fresh ideas will be of great value to the university council next year," Mr Edgar said.
